1. Statutory right of withdrawal
Under Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made at a distance. However, as this is digital content supplied immediately with your prior express consent at the time of order, you expressly waive this withdrawal period once access to the Service has begun (Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
2. Our “Satisfaction Guaranteed” promise
Separately from the legal framework above, ChanTV offers a 7-day “satisfaction guaranteed or your money back” commercial guarantee from the activation of the service. If the Service doesn’t meet your expectations during this period, you can request a full refund.
3. Eligibility conditions
To be eligible for this guarantee, the request must be made within 7 days of activation.
4. How to request a refund
Contact our support team via the Contact page, providing the information needed to identify your order (name, the email address used when ordering, and the reason for your request).
5. Processing time
Once a refund request is approved, the refund is issued to the payment method used for the order. The time it takes to appear can then vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
6. Exclusions
Not eligible for a refund: requests made after the 7-day period, subscription renewals, and accounts suspended for breach of the Terms of Service.
7. Cancellation without a refund
Outside the guarantee period, you may request cancellation of your subscription at any time so it isn’t renewed at the end of the term; however, this does not entitle you to a refund for the period already underway.
Generic template to customise: adjust the length of the commercial guarantee and the processing times to match your actual policy before going live.
